Anxiety Reducing Foods

BlueberriesAnxiety is treatable not only with medication and therapy, but with food as well. Adapting to a healthier diet can significantly increase your success in your ability to lower levels of anxiety, across all boards, naturally. Some foods can increase anxiety, or reduce it and knowing which foods could possibly be beneficial is key to successfully reducing anxiety. First and foremost, there are certain crucial foods to avoid if reducing anxiety is a goal. Not surprising, they are foods that should avoided naturally but nonetheless they include; fried foods, high glycemic carbs, unrefined sugars, and alcoholic beverages. On the other hand, the recommended foods to reduce anxiety and stress might be a shock to a few. Whole Grain foods have several benefits that help with anxiety. Whole Grain foods are rich in magnesium in which magnesium deficiency may led to anxiety. They also include tryptophan, which becomes serotonin, a calming neurotransmitter. While Seaweed offers the same benefits through its magnesium content, it is a good alternative for those who are gluten free. Blueberries, often considered a superfood by many, offers vitamin and plant nutrients while also providing an abundance of antioxidants that have been linked to reducing stress levels. Almonds are also on the list. They contain zinc, which is a key nutrient for balancing a positive mood in addition to healthy fats and iron, in which low levels cause brain fatigue, contributing to anxiety and stress. Foods have outstanding healing principles and by appropriating adjusting your diet to include more of these foods, anxiety levels could be reduced. In my opinion, diet seems like an overlooked outlet in anxiety relief. I understand individuals suffer at severe levels where most options have been exhausted, ultimately leading to medication, but its still fascinating what possible relief can be experienced just by proper nutrition.

  1. I need to show you how to layout these posts better…the photos should be integrated in the text.
New information on the topic: attempts to synthesize information and form new meaning; well organized
written in a somewhat interesting style and voice; words missing author’s personality; sentence fluency is mostly achieved; few errors; some formatting would help make the post easier to read; multimedia adds new information or perspective to post
